This is a jeepney. This is the normal transportation here in our country. A standard jeepney can cater 16 riders plus the driver comfortably. Newer versions of jeepneys can house 21 or more riders, plus the driver. Newest ones though, have more capacity. The front cabin is where the driver sits, together with two front passengers. The back part is equipped with a couple of cushioned long seats where passengers of either seats are facing each other. Each seat can benefit half of these capacity. Its windows are also ewuipped with plastic coverings to ensure that you will not get wet during rainy times.
There are places in our country that have heavy-duty types of this transportation means. Aside from the normal capacity, it also allows top and hood loads. This is useful for cargo, baggage, or even more passengers. So if you are enticed to take a look or try a ride with it, visit my country and be my guest!
if there is a place I wanted to be spend my vacation, it will be Puerto Galera. I find this place better than any other beach locations because of its beauty and accessibility from my place. Galera, as most wil call it, is just a fly or land and sea travel away. If I am to fly, it will take me less than an hour. If I am to take a bus, I will have to make a stop over in Batangas and ride a ferry. This will take almost half my day, if continous, or almost a day, if to wait for the ferry or the bus.
But if I will be looking for pure adventure, it will be best if I choose the latter as I will be engaged in land and sea trips that will feed me of direct contact with the environment. Though it will be a long travel, the end will justify the wait. It's like Im taking a grand tour before the major event. Most importantly, I will be able to spend my hard earned money wisely!
